Peggy, I can't tell you thank you enough. Bailey is everything and more we could have ever hoped for. Both Becky and I are head over heals about her-definitely the prettiest in the pasture. We can hardly wait to start working with her. She'll stay at Julies for about 2 weeks and then come to our house. She's going fit in perfectly. Thank you! Jennifer's emails... Sept 24, 2003
I found a more
recent picture of 'Billy' now if you would want to put a better one of him
on your home page then his baby picture. He's doing awesome and has actually
placed in pleasure and halter classes. You can do anything you want on him
he is spook free, nothing really bothers him at all. He is going back to the
trainer this winter and we are going to ask for some speed since he has
shown his speed in the pasture.
Jennifer
Marback
----------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, This
is Jennifer Marback. I was the one that won him at the Valley City show a
couple years ago. I thought I would update you on how 'Billy' is. Billy is
doing wonderful he is currently in the process of getting trained for reining
in Manvel at the Mongomerys. They are close friends of the family. His mane
and tail are blonde as ever, and his body is roaning out, we don't know what
color he is exactly going to be. He's the biggest sweetheart in the world and
also a big baby. He's hanging out around the 15hh mark, not that tall but he's
built. I will update you on how he does, we are planning to bring him to one
of the upcoming Valley City shows, but it all depends on how he does by the
time the show comes around.
2002 APHA colt "PPQ Skip to my Louie"
Hi Peg, I just thought I'd drop you a line and let you know how delighted I am with Louie! He is a delight to be around. No matter what I try with him, he "gets it" the first time, everytime. I've tried a little bit of lunging, sacking out with a blanket, leading at a walk and trot, ponying out on the trail. He is extremely level headed - even to the point of standing completely still with me rubbing him with empty paper feed sacks, while he is at liberty out in the pasture. He takes everything in stride. He is also extremely affectionate, and lets me know that he likes my company. I am looking forward to riding him next year.He gets along very well with my other two geldings, as well. In fact, number 1 horse decided that Louie should be number 2. My other gelding is now number 3 in the pecking order. But both older geldings accept him very well. Not to mention that he is extremely cute! I will send you a picture after he sheds out this spring. Thanks, Peg. I think you have a great breeding program, and would certainly recommend your colts to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful horse that has real quality. Michelle Landsverk. |
